AASA - Providing leadership and advocacy for architectural education in Australasia

The ‘A’ s in the logo represents buildings/architecture as well as the architecture students in Australasia. The ‘S’ in the logo represents the road connecting the buildings/ architecture together. The ‘S’ also represents AASA connecting architecture students and schools from across Australasia. In creating the logo, I started with the simple letters, where I observed that the A’s could be turned into the first image that comes to mind when we think ‘house’. I then moved the S and A below the A and A so the S could connect the ‘houses’ (A’s) better. This also created a more interesting shape in my opinion.
