AASA - Providing leadership and advocacy for architectural education in Australasia

My design for the Association of Architecture Schools of Australasia proposes a playful letter mark. The archway appears an important element throughout architectural history. It is unique in being a strong, solid structure and its definitive curve gives relief from the standard geometrics of vertical and horizontal. I feel it is a unifying motif for an organisation that represents a diverse body of students. The elements can also be seen as simple characters representing the students who make up the organisation. The shapes of the logo translate well to web containers, graphic markers and elements that convey the brand identity without complication. Colours within the logo can be interchanged and also work perfectly as line art and monochrome. I have shown the versatility of this letter mark in business cards, desktop and smart phone web design, pull up banners.
