AASA - Providing leadership and advocacy for architectural education in Australasia

The proposed logo represents AASA’s understanding of the recent upheaval of the normalities of the analogue in Architecture school, to the complexities of technology we have recently adopted. The type mark ensures that all strokes are of equal width, highlighting the qualities of equality and unity while showing technical precisions.

The colours chosen represents the rapid adoption of new technology to deliver courses in a post-pandemic world. While grey represents the built environment, the steel and concrete on which the profession is founded.
The mountains of Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and Australia are represented with the triangle within the trailing “A”, showing the innate ability of architects of this region to form our technology with a deep understanding and respect of the landscape that it surrounds.

This logo represents the next generation of emerging architects, architecture schools and our joined preparedness to thrive in an ever-changing world.
